Colleyville is a city in northeast Tarrant County, Texas, United States. Located roughly twelve miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the population was 22,550 at the 2010 census. Emerging from a number of small, rural settlements along the Cotton Belt Route, Colleyville was established in the early 20th century for Dr. Lilburn H. Colley, a prominent area physician and a veteran of the Union Army. Today, the town is often referred to as "Colleywood" due to the municipality's relatively high median income.[citation needed]
Colleyville is located at 32°53′6″N 97°8′57″W / 32.885°N 97.14917°W / 32.885; -97.14917 (32.885062, -97.149233).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13.1 square miles (33.9 km²), of which approximately 0.08% of its area is water.
