San Saba, TX
San Saba is a town located in Central Texas. It was settled in 1854 and named for its location on the San Saba River. The population was 2,637 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of San Saba County. The town is known as the birthplace of actor Tommy Lee Jones.
San Saba county was the last county in Texas to have its roads paved.
