Newton is a town in Cache County, Utah, United States. It was founded in 1869 by LDS Pioneers of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The population was 789 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Logan, Utah-Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Newton is located at 41°51′40″N 111°59′24″W / 41.86111°N 111.99°W / 41.86111; -111.99 (41.861169, -111.989936).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.0 km²), all of it land.
