Alta High School

Alta High School serves the educational needs of students in grades nine through 12, and is located in Sandy, Utah. Its curriculum includes art, art history, career technology education, business, driver's education, English, health, history, family and consumer sciences, math, music, physical education, science, social studies and visual arts. It offers language courses in Russian, Spanish, German and French. It has a counseling center and Hawks Rock caf . The school s newspaper encourages students for writing, editing and designing the newspaper. Its extracurricular activities include debate, drama and dance. It has various clubs, such as art, drama, earth, hockey, math, German, Spanish. Its sports program include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball and wrestling.
