General Implement Distributors, established in 1938 and based in Salt Lake City, is a wholesaler of farm machinery. The company offers more than 30 domestic and imported lines and offers field services to its unit lines and distributes more than 15 aftermarket parts lines. The company s products are offered to the potato, grain, cotton, hay and beef industries. It provides a range of services, such as short-line farm implements, farm implement units, parts maintenance support, field demonstrations, cooperative advertising and product service information. The company supplies equipment to more than 750 dealers. It has a fleet of more than 10 delivery trucks and maintains an extensive inventory at four locations, along with a sales staff, including territory managers, who offer products to dealers in the West. The company is one of the three divisions of Arnold Machinery Company, which distributes construction equipment and forklifts in five Western states.
