Julia Curtis

Dr. Hannah Duffey received her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. She then completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Utah. She is an Instructor in the Pediatric Allergy and Immunology division at the University of Utah. Her clinical interests include asthma, eczema and food allergies.

Erika M. Summers, MD has a specialized expertise in laser and aesthetic dermatology. She creates comprehensive treatment plans for her patients incorporating neuromodulators (e.g. Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport), fillers (e.g. Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra, Silikon, Perlane), and lasers (e.g. fractional CO2, Fraxel Dual, pulsed dye laser, IPL) to treat aging, acne scars, rosacea, vascular malformations, and photodamage with non-surgical techniques. She also performs sclerotherapy to treat spider veins on the legs and chemical peels to treat conditions such as melasma and age spots. Dr. Summers trains the Dermatology residents at the University of Utah in the cosmetic portion of their curriculum involving filler and neuromodulator injections, as well as lasers. In 2014 she received a prestigious Womens Dermatologic Society Mentorship Award to train with two of the leading laser specialists in the United States.In addition, Dr. Summers is Director of the University Inpatient Dermatology Service at the University of Utah and Huntsman Cancer Institute, overseeing the residents in caring for hospitalized patients with complex or life-threatening dermatologic conditions. She also enjoys caring for general dermatology and medical dermatology patients in her clinics.

Douglas Powell, MD specializes in the treatment of allergic contact dermatitis, dermatitis, and urticaria/hives. He is board certified in dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Contact Dermatitis Society. His main clinical focus is to determine the possible causes of persistent severe dermatitis and to determine if it is allergic in nature. He also investigates to determine possible allergies to metal prostheses. He has a particular interest in the evaluation of contact urticaria to metals. He also focuses on the treatment of difficult cases of urticaria in patients who have failed standard therapies.
