Due to UTAH Code Yellow-COVID-19, we are requiring reservations to visit the museum, please go to this link to register your visit: https://tinyurl.com/SilverReefRegistration2020 Silver Reef was a mining boomtown in the late 1800's with the discovery of silver in sandstone- a geological rarity. The area is now a Wild West Ghost Town located in a stunning geological setting. Silver Reef is located 18 miles North of St. George, Utah, off I-15 at the 'Leeds' exit. We have Living History reenactments and lectures on the 4th weekends, please visit our website for details, www.SilverReef.org. Also, we have 2 free self-guided walking tours of the ghost town ruins. The self-guide maps for these tours are in a black box in front of our museum. Please enjoy them as a preview of our museum, or if you should visit when we are closed.

Looking for something to do? Check out Silver Reef museum. The history in the beautiful landscape is quite unique. Red rock cliffs, white sandstone, and the history of mining for silver.
