CHAGA PROVISIONS of Vermont harvests Chaga only from live White Birch trees. We take great care not to damage the trees during the harvesting process. It's harvested by not cutting into the trunk of the trees, which shortens the trees' life span. By doing this, Chaga will grow again and be ready for harvest in 3-5 years. Which gives all of us a renewable resource. The Chaga is then dried and chopped into chunks or ground up for tea, ready for sale!
