WaySeeker Woods is a shady, Japanese-style garden in the woods, featuring almost a quarter mile of paths that wind through a garden filled with Hostas, Japanese Maples, Bamboo, Azaleas, shrubs, and flowering plants. Elements of the garden include water features, statuary, a rock garden, and a gazebo overlooking the garden. The garden provides an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of God's creation, to encourage us to take time to appreciate His presence in our lives, and to remind us of the importance of actively working for justice and loving our neighbors. Children are welcome, and may especially enjoy the maze-like design of the garden paths, and the various garden areas named for the theme of the plant names, colors, or other characteristics. The garden is also available for special events. Open by appointment from spring through fall. Many plants featured in the garden are available in the attached nursery.
