Prison Fellowship, established in 1976, is a nonprofit prison ministry offering special programs and support services to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families. It provides Bible-based studies and organizes reform seminars for prisoners. The ministry has partnerships with various churches and organizations throughout the United States that offers educational and rehabilitation programs to released prisoners. It provides mentoring and assistance programs to children of prisoners and undertakes various camp activities. The ministry also conducts research studies and provides information on crime statistics, juvenile justice, victim issues, crime trends, prisoners and prisons. Prison Fellowship is headquartered in Leesburg, Va., and has offices located in Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Louisiana, Ohio and Alabama.
