The Williamsburg Public Works and Utilities-Water and Sewer Division operates and maintains the city s water and sewer systems. It undertakes repair and maintenance work for more than 50 miles of water and sewer lines and sewage pumping stations, as well as various valves, manholes and fire hydrants. The division also offers water services to parts of York and James City counties in Virginia. The Water and Sewer Division responds to a variety of complaints, such as water leaks, sewage back up, taste and odor concerns, and water and sewer bill questions. Located in Williamsburg, Va., it also responds to after-hour water and sewer emergencies.
