Carrollton Elementary School

Opened in 1993, Carrollton Elementary School is a part of Isle of Wight County Schools and enrolls more than 500 students. The school serves students in prekindergarten through grade three. The school has a counselor who provides individual and group counseling and classroom guidance services. The counselor works to foster academic success, early career awareness, and intrapersonal and social development. Carrollton Elementary School houses a media center that assists students in becoming effective collectors and users of information. In addition, the school s cafeteria serves a variety of food items to students. Located in Carrollton, Va., Carrollton Elementary School offers an accelerated reader program.
