Eastern Virginia Medical School

Eastern Virginia Medical School works in partnership with hospitals throughout the United States. Its curriculum includes both interdisciplinary and discipline-based instruction programs that include topics, such as medical ethics, information technology, clinical skills, behavior science, community medicine and geriatrics. Eastern Virginia Medical School also offers several professional and degree programs that include biomedical science, ophthalmic technology, clinical psychology, and surgical assistance and certification program. It provides various services to students, including financial aid, minority affairs and assistance, professional development programs, student affairs and registrar information, and testing and evaluation classes. The school is approved by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. It is located in Norfolk, Va.
