Egglestetton Plantation is a historic gem nestled near Chula in Amelia County, Virginia. Dating back to around 1799, this 1 1/2-story frame dwelling with a gambrel roof underwent extensive restoration in 1972-1973, preserving its Central-passage plan and beaded weatherboard siding.

Originally built for planter and Congressman Joseph Eggleston, the property also features an early 19th-century kitchen, adding to its historical charm. Designated on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, Egglestetton offers visitors a glimpse into Virginia's rich past.
