Jefferson Forest High School, affiliated with Bedford County Public School District, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. The school s curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as accounting, business management, language arts, mathematics, social studies, foreign languages, science, and health and physical education. It also provides programs in computer applications, earth sciences, agriculture and technical courses. The sports activities offered by the school include cross country, football, golf, volleyball, basketball and cheerleading. The services offered by the school include career counseling, transportation assistance and information about colleges. It has various clubs, including animal rights, art, book, community awareness, key, interact, and Spanish and French clubs. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include a jazz band, jewelry making, forensics, visual and performing arts, yearbook and newspaper. Jefferson Forest High School has an enrollment of more than 1,200 students and is located in Forest, Va.
