History
My business started in New York in 1995 as a boutique catering service. In 2003, I opened my Brooklyn eatery Solomon's Porch in the community of Bedstuy. The neighborhood was transitioning and gentrification was underway. We were the first full service restaurant in that community to offer live entertainment, upscale dining and special events. In 2008, my partner and I decided to close the restaurant. I then focused on The Gourmet Angel and offered up my services as a restaurant consultant. By 2014, I was ready for change and relocated to New Orleans to work for the actor, Channing Tatum. As fate would have it, life has gone full circle. In 2018, I returned to Alexandria. Born and raised here. Now I serve the DMV.
