The Strategic Planning & Programming Division is governed by the Washington Department of Transportation. The division administers the Program T, which supports the data and research activities of the departments. Through its program, it collects safety and transportation systems performance data. The Strategic Planning & Programming Division conducts freight customer interviews and offers tribal transportation services. The division identifies systems changes and needs for plan revisions, such as actions on financing, demographics, population and employment trends. It is also responsible for the maintenance of local roadways, airports and highways in the state. The Strategic Planning & Programming Division operates stormwater treatment facilities.
