Located in Renton, Wash., McKnight Middle School is a coeducational school that serves more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight and is operated by the Renton School District 403. Its academic curriculum includes mathematics, reading, science, social studies, English, art, science, foreign languages, and physical and health education. The middle school offers a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities, such as homework, dance, cookie, bike, computer, craft, shop, diversity and reading clubs, the National Honor Society and jazz band. It also provides various athletic activities, such as basketball, soccer, track, volleyball and wrestling. Additionally, it provides special education programs for students with mild, moderate and severe disabilities.
