The Community Health Association of Spokane, commonly known as CHAS, is a nonprofit system of federally qualified community clinics providing medical and dental health care services to families and individuals of all ages. It has various location centers in Spokane, Wash., including the Maple Clinic. It provides various services that include primary medical care for the entire family; prenatal and obstetric care, including midwifery services; full-service dental care for adults and children; behavioral health care; women's health services; and wellness education. In addition, it offers chronic disease care, clinic and automated pharmacy services, X-ray and laboratory services. The clinic also provides health care and outreach programs for individuals suffering from HIV and the homeless, low-income groups and uninsured individuals. The Community Health Association of Spokane accepts payment through various major insurances, including Healthy Options, Washington Basic Health Plan, Medicare and Medicaid insurances.
