Carrello means cart in Italian - hence the carts meandering through the dining room carrying small, unexpected bites when we first opened. For the moment, our namesake carts have been parked, but we look forward to the day they return! Carrello was founded in October of 2019 as a more casual, a la carte space across the street from the Lockwoods' sister restaurant - Altura, which serves a set menu. The restaurant employs the Italian tradition that delicious food can be simple by enhancing flavors through creativity and care. The restaurant's fresh pastas, whole roasted meats, seasonal seafood and array of off-menu bites allow diners to create a meal that matches their occasion.
