I was inspired to go into medicine after my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and was asked to change her diet without any guidance. Together, we explored nutrition and how powerful lifestyle changes can be. My clinical focus areas are diabetes education, Type 1 and Type 2, gestational diabetes, prediabetes, insulin dosing, meter initiation, CGM placement, and diagnostic interruption.

I strive to help patients live active, healthy, happy lives. My love for science and patient care led me to a career in medicine. My passion for being physically active and adventurous further led me into sports medicine and orthopedics. When I am out of office, you can find me attempting to invent new recipes, exploring the outdoors, lifting weights, spending time with family and crossing places off my must-see-travel bucket list.
