Monroe Municipal Court is a court of limited jurisdiction located in Monroe, WA. Authorized by Washington State statute, the court handles criminal misdemeanors, gross misdemeanors, civil traffic infractions, and other City of Monroe Code violations. With a mission to resolve matters fairly and timely in accordance with the law, the court provides an impartial and dignified forum to promote respect for the Rule of Law and protect individual rights and liberties.
Under the leadership of Judge Jessica K Ness, Monroe Municipal Court is committed to advancing justice for all who come before it. As an efficient and accessible court system, it works collaboratively with justice partners to serve the community with integrity and transparency. Currently, the court is temporarily located in the Public Works Parks Recreation building during the remodel of the Administrative Wing of the Municipal Campus.
