Seattle, WA 98168
Since 1965, Northwest Center has been a leader in promoting the rights and independence of infants, children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Through ground breaking programs and services, we have helped transform lives and influence change across the nation. The parents who started Northwest Center refused to accept the prevailing notion that their children with disabilities couldnt be taught. They banded together and fought relentlessly until the State of Washington recognized that all childrenregardless of their abilityhave an equal right to education. From birth through retirement, Northwest Center serves people of all abilities in a multitude of ways. Northwest Center Kids manages our programs for children while Northwest Center Works provides services to adults. Northwest Center Kids changes the course of childrens lives. Working in partnership with families to provide support and enhance the development of children with developmental delays.
