Established in 1978, Ordway Elementary School enrolls more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade four. The school offers a range of educational and extracurricular programs. It provides special education preschool, Title I and English as a second language programs. The school also offers counseling, pathology and transportation services. It has a site council and parent-teacher association, which organizes a variety of fundraising events, such as auctions, online shopping, carnivals, book fairs, supplies sale and yearbook. The school also provides opportunities for students to participate in various after-school classes, chess, science, knitting and crafts. Located in Bainbridge Isle, Wash., Ordway Elementary School is a part of the Bainbridge Island School District.
