Morningside Academy provides a reading program that includes phonemic awareness through auditory blending and segmenting and alphabetic principle. It also offers sessions related to sound-symbol correspondence, textual blending, segmenting strategies and reading fluency. The academy writing program includes various descriptive, narrative, explanatory and persuasive writing classes.
