The United States Fish and Wildlife Service is charged to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. It works towards this goal by protecting endangered species, enforcing federal wildlife laws, restoring fisheries, conserving habitats and educating the general public.
This U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service office deals primarily with law enforcement; housing the special agents who conduct investigations and respond to complaints mostly in western Washington, but will also respond to matters east of the Cascade Mountains in Ellensburg and Yakima.
