Established in 1965 as Mingo County Economic Opportunity Commission, Mingo Community Action Partnership is a private nonprofit organization that provides various community-based services for low-income individuals and families. It offers the Head Start program for children up to 5 years of age. The organization provides opportunities for physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children, as well as offers educational services.
