Bristol is a village in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. It was incorporated in 2009 from portions of the Town of Bristol. The population is estimated by village officials to be 2,510. The former unincorporated communities of Bissell, Cypress, Pikeville, and Woodworth are located in the village.
In 1968, a state court denied the Town of Bristol's petition to incorporate itself as a village.
The Town of Bristol was involved in annexation disputes with the Village of Pleasant Prairie during the 1990s. The two entities reached a boundary agreement in 1997; as a result, the Circuit Court of Kenosha County dismissed motions by Pleasant Prairie to annex portions of the town.
