History
Brighton Dale Links was established as a 27 hole golf course in 1972. The architect Edmund Alt did marvelous work designing the facility. The David Gill Corporation was retained in 1990 to prepare a Master Development Plan for an eighteen hole addition. The expanded and improved facility plays as two eighteen hole courses, with a separate nine hole course, and became the largest publicly owned golf facility in Wisconsin. The 45 hole Master Plan required integration of new holes and existing holes into each of the eighteen hole courses. The Par 72 eighteen hole White Birch Course can play to more than 7000 yards from the back tees. The Blue Spruce Course also plays as a par 72. The 6700 yard plus (from the back tees) layout traverses rolling terrain covered with a mixture of pine, oak savannah, and open grassland meadows. The Red Pine 9 hole course plays to over 3500 yards and is said to be many players favorite. It is more open but the last 4 holes are extremely challenging.
