Ace Ethanol, a limited-liability company, was formed by Norman Spooner of Gilman, Wis., and Alexander Samrardzich of Bruce, Wis. The goal of Ace Ethanol is to be the first plant to produce ethanol in the state of Wisconsin. Production started in June 2002, and it is one of the first large-scale ethanol plants in Wisconsin.
