Great bar. Decent prices, decent selection of alcohols and a good juke box. Plenty of room, decent pool table , DJ's occasionally and TWO Tornado Foosball tables. Waiting for live music again.

The Glass Hat, established in 1880, is Wausau's oldest bar and has weathered 14 decades filled with rich history, including tales of bootlegging and bowling clubs. Recently restored in 2008, it brings back the charm of the 1930s, offering a unique atmosphere for patrons.

Seemed like a college crowd. But not the cool college crowd where you go to meet people, drink and hang out. The frat boy - dudebro college crowd. The ones that drink PBR and play ironic music...
