Dr. John Charles treats adults and adolescents with psychiatric problems, provides office and inpatient care, responds to and manages referrals from area hospital emergency departments and local/regional physician clinics, provides psychiatric care through the City-Wide Call process. Dr. Charles is board certified in General Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Prior to joining Bellin Psychiatric Center, Dr. Charles was in private practice in the Phoenix Metro area and also provided psychiatric services to adults, adolescents, and children in a rural setting in Globe, Arizona. In addition, he has pursued an interest in homeopathic medicine and is licensed in Arizona as a Homeopathic Physician. Education: Medical degree from University of Wisconson-Madison Medical school Residency in psychiatry at Maricopa Integrated Health System in Phoenix, AZPersonal: Dr. Charles is originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin. He completed his college studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he met his wife, Lisa. They have three children.
