Buffalo Bill Dam Visitor Center

The Buffalo Bill Dam Visitor Center, located 6 miles west of Cody, Wyoming, is a National Register of Historic Places and National Civil Engineering Landmark. Visitors can walk across the dam for breathtaking views of the Shoshone River and Buffalo Bill Reservoir, and explore exhibits on dam construction, wildlife, geography, farming, and prehistoric artifacts. Guests can enjoy a short film on the building of Buffalo Bill's Dam in the mini-theater, shop for books, mugs, shirts, and gifts, and even take a shuttle from the parking lot to the visitor center in a golf cart.
