DF Contemporary

DF Contemporary is a contemporary art gallery established by Elton Faber in June 2013. The gallery has an extensive programme of curated group and solo exhibitions that run throughout the year. Operating from our space in Woodstock, Cape Town, we showcase and promote contemporary work by both emerging and established artists alike. It is DF Contemporary’s vision that the gallery is a space that nurtures its represented artists, providing a platform that allows them to develop and gain greater recognition. Although we predominantly exhibit South African artists, we have also opened our doors to international artists, as we believe that contemporary art is not constrained by borders. We pride ourselves on exhibiting high quality work that is comprised of a broad range of media. By doing so we seek to provoke cross-disciplinary debate and promote interdisciplinary practice.
