Nestled between mountains in the Spekboom River Valley, the Elandsdoorn Conservancy boasts an abundant fauna and flora. Herds of plains game, abundant mammal species as well as three of the big 5 provide excellent game viewing Bird watchers will have the opportunity to spot the rare Nerina Trogon, or Bosloerie amongst the myriad of other species. Beautiful hiking trails crisscross the conservancy providing nature lovers intimate encounters with game and breathtaking bushveld vistas. Hunting has been prohibited for more than a decade resulting in resident game species being oblivious to approach by vehicle or foot, ensuring ample close encounters and photographic opportunities. At the main Lodge we have 5 en-suite chalets sleeping two guests each, and one self-catering unit sleeping a 2 to 3 adults. The Tholo tented Camp offers 4 fitted tents with en-suite bathrooms, sleeping 2 to 3 adults. At the Rondawels we have two adjoining rooms sleeping 6 people, ideal for 1 to 2 families. The Elandsdoorn Boshuis sleeps up to 10 guests. This house is perfect for larger groups or families.
