Lunchworks

A family-owned independent cafe in the heart of the Cape Town City Bowl Open Mon-Fri 10am-2pm Lunchworks opened in July 2011 with the vision to provide fresh "fast food" to surrounding offices by conveniently packaging freshly prepared food, like salads, wraps & sandwiches. Ingredients are sourced for their quality. We will always opt for the free-range, organic & local option whenever possible. We also serve at events and markets- we are permanently based at the vibrant Oranjezicht City Farm Market on a Saturday Morning. We also provide a wide range of catering options, from platters of finger food for office events, to dinner fare at birthdays and weddings. ​ Lunchworks is owned by Czech Chef, Jakub Vanek and his wife, Andrea. They were previously in the UK for eight years, gaining experience in various establishments. Jakub was most recently Head Chef at Carluccio's in London's Notting Hill and Andrea was a front-of-house manager at The Garrison in trendy Bermondsey Street.
