Electra is a modest yet striking cottage situated on a pine and cattle property an hour west of Bundaberg, constructed from the remnants of an earlier dwelling. The design showcases a simpler rural aesthetic, characterized by a skillion roof that creates a generous verandah, allowing internal living spaces to open up to the breezes and views. With a focus on sustainability, Electra is completely off-grid, featuring extensive glazing for natural light and cross ventilation. The entire project was completed in under nine months, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the client, builder, and architect. Generated from the website
