Eden Park

New Zealand’s National Stadium, Eden Park, was opened in 1903 and is the largest stadium in the country. The spiritual sporting home of New Zealand sport, this historic venue has hosted many iconic moments, including the 1987 and 2011 Rugby World Cup finals, the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup semi-final and various matches for the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, the 2021 Women’s Rugby World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. The Park is located in the heart of Auckland, centrally located in the vibrant suburb of Kingsland, less than 3km southwest of the CBD. Every year, Eden Park hosts close to a million local and international sports fans and patrons at matches, concerts, various functions and community events.
