Dan Gonzalez joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in November 2016. He previously worked for 9 years as an Army Officer in the US Army. Dan holds a master's degree in financial planning and financial psychology from Creighton University, as well as a bachelor's degree in justice administration from the University of Louisville. He holds Series 24, 7, 66, SIE, securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV, AA, AE, and AP. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Dan serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Dan will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. In his free time, Dan enjoys listening to music, spending time with family, and working out. Active in his community, Dan is a member of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).
