HistoryThe company was started in 1997 in the Tampa Bay area by founder Robert Howell. Howell's background in waterproofing and structural repairs for a wide range of clients led him to form the company with just two employees. Under Howell's leadership, the company grew to more than 130 employees. Shortly after the company was founded, Michael Long joined and later opened a second office in Houston. As the Houston office's General Manager, Long built the company into a dominant player in Texas and the Southwest region. In 2015, Restocon opened its third regional office in Atlanta, followed by a fourth office in Memphis in 2016.
